Members' Supplement

The Members' Supplement, published with each issue of the Peace and Environment News, is mailed free to PERC members along with the regular section. The supplement is also available free at the PERC office at 174 First Avenue. If you are not yet a member, complete the membership form on page 8 and send it in along with your tax-creditable donation.

This month's theme is Waste Management Alternatives. In the Supplement you will also find some of our popular regular columns—the Activist's Notebook, Dangerous Women, and The Organic Gardener, as well as feature articles and reviews.

Our theme for the March Supplement will be Alternative Health Care. The theme for the April Supplement will be United Nations Reform. Contributions from readers are welcome, and will be considered, subject to normal review and editing procedures. Call PERC at 230-4590 for details.

Peace and Environment Calendar

PERC is looking for dynamic individuals to serve on its voluntary Board of Directors. If you are willing and able to commit two years of your time to participate on a "working board," we would like to hear from you. ARMSTRONG PARK SAVED
Last summer the city of Ottawa decided to sell this small park to raise money for other projects. People protest reversed the decision, along with the fact that city hall had just approved a 10-storey family housing project just down the street.
