Volunteering

The Peace and Environment Resource Centre has an immediate opening for a Treasurer to serve on its Board of Directors.  This volunteer position directs the activities of the bookkeeper, ensuring the integrity of PERC accounting records and the timely and accurate filing of regulatory reports.  If you are an accounting professional with four hours a month to donate, we would like to hear from you.

Walk 4 Justice

On the morning of Monday, September 19th, Walk4Justice for Missing and Murdered women arrived on Parliament Hill. This rally brought a call for action on the many unsolved and unresolved crimes against women throughout Canada and, in particular, the need for justice for the alarming proportion of these crimes that have been committed against Aboriginal women.
