Based in Ottawa, Ontario, we use storytelling and networking to help individuals, non-profits, and community groups work locally for a greener and more peaceful world.

We publish the Peace & Environment News (PEN) at the start of each month, focusing on peace, environmental & social justice issues with a local connection, and encouraging greater understanding and the ability of our readers to take real, practical action on issues that matter to them.

We place volunteers & students in positions where they can work on things that mean something to them, or learn more about causes they're passionate about. We partner with other groups on a variety of projects large and small, and we help smaller groups and under-served causes be heard.
