The PEN has transitioned from our quarterly print newspaper to a monthly newsletter, but its mission--to support small, Ottawa-based community groups and involve the public in finding grassroots solutions to environmental and social problems--remains the same.

Each month, the PEN will publish stories that discuss peace and environment issues in Ottawa and what our community is doing to address them. Some months will feature stories centered on a common theme or topic, while others will instead include voices from community members taking action on a range of issues.
